How safe is Belgrade?

I am traveling to Belgrade soon, so I was wondering how safe it is in general. How likely is it for my new expensive cell phone to get stolen? (this is what I'm most concerned about)

    you will get lost there buddy. They can even steal you rpants and you will not even realise it.

    Better travel together with someone that has experience
