Why Florida does not have a car inspection like the other states , we should have one for safety?

You know how many people are driving with worn ball joint, wear tires, bad rack pinion, crack windshield in they dont want to fix it, One lady was killed on interstate 95 2 weeks agos when a suv tire came off going at 70 mph in push the car that was beside her into a lake. In My opinion the state of FL should have a state inspection because most people are not wear if they vehicle is safe it will safe life!

Probably because Florida is a little smarter than other states. The cost to implement the inspection is huge to the tax payer. There are always exceptions to the rule, and the cars that really need the inspection are usually exempt. Michigan for example had it for about five years, it was such a nuisance, and their were plenty of garages that gave inspections that would sign off for $20.00 rather than making the necessary repairs needed. Since when do you think that when government legislates we have a better, society. Government only screws things up.
