Dirk Pitt novels, when was his kids introduced to the story line.?
I just picked up a Dirk Pitt novel by Clive Cussler and it has Dirk's adult children. In the story line Clive says that Dirk didn't know he had children until Dirk Jr and Summer contacted him. I was wondering which novel did Clive introduce the children to the story line.

At the end of the book "Valhalla Rising", the 23-year-old twins introduced themselves to Dirk. "In the end Dirk is approached by his 23-year old twin children and finds out from them that his former lover Summer hadn't actually died in an underwater earthquake but had survived and raised the twins herself because she didn't want Dirk to know about her injured and pathetic state after the earthquake. "

They get to be plenty a similar after a whilst -- and Clive Cussler has the stressful habit of introducing himself into his novels. Now he's co-writing along with his son, Dirk (yep - he named the baby after the hero he created) and it somewhat is like Dad has defined the story and the baby fills in the blanks.
