How to remove Gibson SG standard electronics?

I am sending my SG to get painted, but dont have the money to pay them to remove the electronics. So I need to do this myself.

Is there a site that shows this step by step? or personal ways.

Expert answers only please

Update:

I have googled it and looked on mutiple forums. So this is a last resort....

Update 2:

The main thing I want to know is how to remove the original pickups and be able to put them back in after the painting

Take off the pick guard If it has one), unscrew the input jack bolt. IF your pickups are soldered into place, and you can't remove the pick up or pick guard because of the pick up covers, just cut the solder joints with a razor and slide off the covers. DO NOT USE HEAT! You can damage the pick up. Once it's off, just unscrew any pot mountings or whatever is anchoring the guts. Remember, the easiest thing to fix on a guitar is the guts. It's just point to point wiring. Wires can be replaced. Pots can be replaced. Just don't screw up your pick ups getting them out. But, even they can be replaced. Once you get the pick ups out, it should be easy.

I constantly be apologetic approximately taking away any of my kit with some exceptions. in case you incredibly like the two a style of guitars then save them and purchase an SG once you have the money. you may in no way have too many guitars. in case you come across you have not any pastime in acoustic then merely commerce/sell the Taylor and save the diminished as a backup.
