Why am I still alive? I don't belong in this world.?
I hate this world. I hate the people in it. I don't feel like I belong here. The world itself is boring to me. I've lived in various states throughout America and reguardless of where I go or what I'm doing, I still feel this way. Even while doing activies I enjoy, I still don't want to be alive. I don't want to be here. I've spoken to some people I know personally, but none of them can help me. Honestly, I don't know if there's anything to help. I just dislike the world we live in. I have a very strong sense of justice, which doesn't help. Every time I turn around mankind is doing something despicable. The bad far outways the good. One person suggested I turned to God. I'm an atheist for the most part. I tried going to church and all it did was bore me even more. I don't understand why I bother continuing my worthless existence. I've tried many different things. I'm searching for something in this world that'll make it worth being in and I've found nothing.I've felt this way for about 13 years now. I'm getting to my breaking point. I almost killed myself about a month ago, but instead I was talked into moving across the country. I did that, but it really hasn't helped. I'm back to how I was, still thinking the same way. Still wanting my life to end because it's just too boring. I believe the life I want, the world I want to live in can only be attained if I die. Even then, I may not get what I want because it's possible nothing happens after we die. I want to be in a world where powers exist and grand wars can happen. A world of fairy tales I suppose would be accurate. Where dragons, energy powers, elemental powers, and various creatues of myth and magic exist. I'd even accept a world similar to that of the Greek Gods in mythology. Having the Gods to battle or battle with, various creatures and quests/journeys to go on. How does someone like me who wishes to live in a world like one previously mentioned find happiness, joy, and simply something worthwhile in the boring world we live in? I suppose this is all I can say for now. If you have any questions or responses, feel free to ask/answer. I'll read them and respond when I can, if I can. Thanks for your time. Have a nice day.
Yes, I play video games, watch anime, and read manga/other books. It just isn't the same as actually being in a world like I want to be in.
I haven't figured how to respond to specific answers yet, so just adding details as I see they are needed. I don't do drugs, smoke, or drink. I don't plan to do any of these either. Tried drinking, hate the taste. Don't like smoke. And my sense of justice is an instant no to drugs. Also, let me specify, when I said a grand war, I meant as in a mythical one. Not humans against humans, but humans against Gods and creatures.

You obviously have no sense of justice if you want grander wars than we already have. You need to re-evaluate your perspective and philosophy, disattach the strings and honestly analyze, cause and effect. If you see so much wrong in the world, you should try and fix it. I was going through something similar to what you described when I was 14, grow up. I disagreed with religion and nothing could help me, so what? I created my own religion for myself, that doesn't mean I go about spreading it, I just live by it everyday. I also wanted a fairy tale like place, but I found it in art. I learned to visit that fairy tale world by writing, listening to music, making films and other art. Then I realized that this world we live in, it's not so disconnected from our inner fantasy at all. Infact most of society was built someones fairytale and it's constantly open to change. Yes, there is a wall, but walls are there to separate people who really want to get through from the ones who don't really want to. So stop kidding yourself and look around. What does interesting even mean to you?? Are you sure that you're not just blocking things out or not looking enough, because if you're so bored because you're so smart, why are there still so many unanswered questions? Answer them. You have control, believe me you do, you are your own god and the bible is all around you, one just has to look to read it.
Get new perspective glasses. Soo many pretty models, black ones, yellow ones, pink ones, round ones, john lennon ones. =]
I think you might be a romantic at heart, that's really hot. I started thinking why you would want a mythical war and then I understood... you're not into the actual hurting of gods or whatever, you like the virtue and challenge, the feelings and psychology of the idea. How about you try writing? You just have to start dreaming, you know, maybe meditate and you enter your world. You start cultivating a situation and things that could happen. It is magical and it helps you learn a lot about yourself. Please give writing more than 1 try, I think it could benefit you. ^.^

Well you may be surprised but i have to tell you for start that you are actually right. What you feel is the result of who you really are. If you want to leave then all you have to do is leave. But why leave when you dont really know whats bothering you in the first place. Its a feeling that you will find difficult to describe with words. Your inside is burning for a purpose and you havent realized it yet. Do this excersise. Imagine that you leave this world, these ppl, these materials, shapes, colors, universe, bad, good EVERYTHING. Now when you are there when everything is gone tell me. Who the **** are you and why are you in this world. Once you do its the first step to see how the world really looks like. Sorry for the bad english. Just wanted to ''help''.

Go to a psychiatrist? Maybe if you figure out when exactly you began to feel this way, you'll understand more about it? Like maybe it happened as a reaction to a trauma?
Find things that bring you closer to the world you prefer? Like painting, or playing games, listening to music or reading.
Or find other things that bring you happiness, the best cure for everything is to fall in love.

A daringly modified quote:
>> I am loving this sun-kissed world. I love the good people (friends and good strangers) here. I do feel like I belong here. The world itself is wonderful to me; I've been at various places throughout the Continent and regardless of where I go or what I'm doing, I still feel this way. While doing the activities I enjoy and the activities that I am supposed to do (must do), I very much want to be alive and well and present and cohesive. I don't want to be like an alien just dumped down on this place of Earth from the planet Mars, I would not feel it nice.
I've spoken to many people I know personally and to good strangers, and most of them are good friends to me, they would have no good reasons to be my foes. Honestly, I don't know if there's anything for me to irrationally complain. I just love the world we live in. I have a very strong sense of justice, which I hope will help to improve more our world and my own life with loving family and good friends. Every time I think of mankind, they are doing what they can to improve the world and their own destiny. The good far outweighs the bad. Some persons suggested I turned to God. I'm an atheist for the most part. But whenever I tried going to church I saw that many good souls were filling it. I don't see why I should be sceptical about life and existence. I've tried many different things in my life in interactions with others ever trying and participating to the creation of good events and of wonderful memories for a future.
I'm ever working and searching for more in this sun-kissed world that will make it even better, even more promising. I've felt this way for many years now. I feel that I'm getting to a glowing turning point, to an even better metamorphosis. I believe that the life I want, the sun-kissed world I want to live in, can ever be attained if I am fiercer and ever daring in good ventures and adventures. I want to be in a world where love and adventure do exist and where grand events can happen. A material and ethereal world of real and of fairy tales and of great events I suppose would be accurate, where heroes, energy powers, elemental powers, and various creatures of myth and of magic can co-exist. I'd even accept a world similar to that of the good old Greek Gods in their mythology, having the Gods to battle or battle with, various creatures and quests/journeys to go on.
Thus can someone like me, who wishes to live in a great world, find happiness, joy, a great apotheosis of ever throbbing life with glowing certainty and with as if perennial bliss, something really great in the world we live in. I suppose this is all I can say for now. Thanks for your time. Have a nice day.<<
Amen. Do thus have chances of lots of great good laughs in loving company or more sublimely all on your own.

You need to give God/Jesus a solid chance to turn your life around. You're searching for Him and you don't even realize it. It requires a plethora more of blind faith to be an atheist than it does to believe in and trust God and what His son did for us. To think this universe just somehow popped in to existence and formed on its own accord, and operates perfectly by a set number of laws that cannot be broken, to think life just somehow 'randomly' put itself together in many different ways at the same time.
Literally, A hundred trillion quintillion different elements from microscopic to gigantic had to come PERFECTLY together, Flawlessly all in a sequence of perfect timing, for this universe to exist to right up to us being here.
It could Never have happened on its own, It was Designed. Google bacterial flagellum, its a microscopic engine bacteria use to move themselves. Do you honestly think that it just 'evolved' that complex mechanism? If just one piece to it 'evolved' out of order it would be useless. It was Designed.
You might as well believe a totally destroyed pocket watch could put itself together on its own. We were carefully designed and put here.
There are no "Greek gods" There is One God existing in 3 separate beings. God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.
When God made us He left us with a God shaped void that only He can fill. But people are sinful and rebellious, wanting to live there own way, so they try and fill that void with new toys which they get sick of and then move on to the next.
But when you believe in Jesus, When you have a personal relationship with Him. You fill that void with God. And that's when everything in your life starts to come together if you leave it up to Him to handle. I'm speaking from personal experience.
Your living in a imaginary dream world because life is boring to you. Step back into reality, Get saved, give a relationship with God a real chance, read about it online. Learn about His perfect loving trustworthy character, Put your trust in Him. Surrender your life into His hands and watch how He turns your life around into what He intended for you since before time existed. It will be the best life you ever could have lived. A thousand times better than you could do on your own.
Look at where you have gotten yourself so far? You hate it, Give Him a real chance, There will still be trials but He will always get you through them, they are designed you mold you into a better person. I promise.
go to the website I put under sources and search every question you ever had about God, salvation, the bible, Jesus, . Everything you read is true.
Your existence is not worthless. If you had no point in being alive, you would not be alive, He would have checked you out ages ago, You are alive right now for many reasons, not just one. I'm praying for you.

You're still here because you choose to be.
Just as your life is how it is because of your personal choices ... you are solely responsible for your life and your happiness, or unhappiness, as the case may be.
