To Close Your Yahoo! Account, follow the steps:
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user ------ You will be asked to sign in or to verify the password for the account you want to delete.
You will not be able to Reactivate nor Recover the Account after it has been deleted/closed..
All the Yahoo! Services and Amenities will be discontinued!.
♦For Yahoo! Questions and Answers; ALL "Resolved Questions & Answers" can Not be
Deleted, for they are property of Yahoo!.

First make sure that you sign in with the
account that you wish to delete.
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
click on this address and it will help.
you will have to verify your account and then you can do it
please read what you lose when you close a Yahoo account
