Your opinion on Vick's statement.?
Vick threw the pick that lost the game on Sunday. In his press conference, he said he got greedy and went for the points. Then he said at least he went out swinging. Do you think he was taking a shot a Ryan Howard for watching the final strike go over the plate to make the phillies lose the NLCS last year. If so...that is pretty funny
The running out of time and last play excuse is garbage. There was 40 seconds left and they were around the 30. There was plenty of time. And stop answering like you know his thoughts. What better way to get the media off the bad decision you made or poor throw you made than to play it off on a mistake of another philly player. I think he tried to soften his mistake by saying " yeah I screwed up but let's not forget about what this other guy did too" could be wrong but the relation between what he said and Ryan Howards weak effort is pretty close....but like i said...i could be wrong.....its just funny he picked those words

That last minute interception happens to many teams who are behind, he was taking the shot and was just saying he was giving it all on this last play and not sitting back to watch the clock run out. I think he was just stumbling on his words, still upset over the INT.
But that analogy is pretty clever.
Edit: You're right, of course on the 40 seconds left over. He did get greedy, what he should have done is throw the ball away rather than force it. He could have spiked it and recollected his thoughts...he was right on the greedy statement. And I would never want to know what he was thinking, NEVER.
But again-good analogy there.

No, i don't think Vick really cares about the Phillies. I think it's simply a figure of speech to say that.

Good point.
Ryan Howard might say Vick's wagging the dog.

He forced a throw that wasn't there. He's correct about that statement, he just thought there wasn't enough time and just put it out there. Bad decision.

Nah...Vick is just trying to justify his mistake instead of owning up and giving the Packers credit.

You can't clock a ball once a play begins to develop, you moron. That's intentional grounding.

You're over-thinking that statement a little too hard.
