What do you people think are the New York Knicks really back ?

They are back in terms of a playoff team, but they still have a few pieces to go before thinking Championship.

comparing todays knicks to the knicks the past 10 years...yeah bro they are back lol...all this melo talk is stupid...knicks dont need melo...what the knicks need is DEFENSE!!! knicks have the best offense in the league so why u wanna add melo if defense is whats keeping them from being an elite team...knicks have enough pieces to make trades and get good defenders...

Their back, they have a solid lineup with young talent and superstars in amare, and can be contenders if they get melo

A lineup of Felton-Fields-Melo-Stoudemire-Turiaf with chandler as 6th man is a definite contender (predicted lineup if melo doesnt want an extension with nj and they need to trade for him with gallo/douglas/randolph/expiring/future picks)

They're a playoff team but they're too small and probably won't get very far with their current lineup. They need some size. With that said, they're a hell of a lot better than last year...

They're playing about .500 and they'll most likely make the playoffs... thats better than anything they've produced for the last 6 seasons.

idk....i mean yes they are playing good but i think people are hyping them up too much...they only won 27 games last year...they will surpass that by at least 13-15 games this year but they still have one star away before become ELITE

They're kind of like the Hawks.

They're not a NBA Finals team, but do mess up teams that are.

I agree, no scrubs, but still are impressive because of all they've succeeded with what they have.

Are they back? No, are they on that road and recovering? Of course.
