Are you allowed to take pop onboard? Any suggestions of things to take/leave home?
I know you're not allowed to take alcohol, obviously, but I saw a post on NCL's website that said what kind of pop they have, and it didn't include Dr Pepper, which is the only pop I drink. Would they confiscate it like they would alcohol?
Also, are there any things that you would suggest I take, or that I won't need? Like I read posts saying that there will only be one outlet in the room so people suggest bringing a power strip.
We'll be going to the Carribbean in May. But the question about Dr Pepper is really my biggest concern. Does anyone know if it would get taken away if I put some in my luggage?

I have been on many cruises with NCL and other cruise lines and I generally take a 6-pack of bottled water and a 6-pack of 16 oz bottled soft drinks on board in my carry on. Never had a problem with them confiscating it.

what you can do is to take six bottles of Dr Pepper with you and be sure to take water, the ship charge for bottle water. If you get on with your Dr Pepper, the next port of call you stop, pick up six more and so on, just take it in small amount.
