Why wasn't Sen. McCain asked to speak last night at the Memorial?

I, too, believe that it would have been courtesy to invite Senator McCain to speak.

I was very uncomfortable with the Memorial Service/Pep Rally and hope I never lose anyone in a tragedy that the Dems can capitalize on to use for their own purposes.

Yeah, I found it odd that McCain would not speak, having represented Arizona in the Senate for so many years. Having Eric Holder speak was very strange.
