Absolutely! My youngest daughter used to make wallets, bracelets, etc. etc. etc... I bought her several colors for Christmas a few years back.
Yesterday I saw a truck with a customised lid over the truck bed, taped down over assorted stuff protruding over the top - with 'duct tape', zooming down the freeway. It was holding just fine, lol!

about 7 years ago. yes and no.
yes-it held part of the battery cover on the stratus (which was located UNDER the car in the left side front wheeel well)
no- would not hold on sideview mirror on same car.
so until we traded it in, our car was literally held together by duct tape! lol!

With a washcloth, it keeps her complaining down to a minimum. That, and some good strong nylon cord. That'll eliminate a lot of headaches. Damn shovel just makes too much racket.
