Am I Sagittarius or Ophiuchus, now?

Amid all this nonsense, let me note that it can be refuted with other nonsense.

The western world goes by the tropical zodiac, which is defined by the equinoxes. The western world has NEVER used the sidereal zodiac, which is the one that has supposedly "changed".

That means you are still the sign you thought you were and there is no need to get a new tattoo.

Ophiuchus And Sagittarius

Personality traits are determined by genetic and environmental factors, what some con artist tells you your personality should be beased on when you were born, is a scam. Astrology was disproven in the 1600s. That's why Miss Cleo always has that discalimer "For Entertainment Purposes Only" at the bottom of her advertisements.... because nothing she tells you is REAL.

Not that I particularly believe in horoscopes, but just because they suddenly have a new sign doesn't mean you suddenly have new characteristics. (And I think this goes for all former Sagittarius', not just ones on the fence).

You'll probably have characteristics from both Sagittarius and Ophiuchus, and because you're in between either horoscope could apply to you, but technically you are a Ophiuchus.

Honestly... I think this whole astrology shift thing is total BS.

They are stars that are very far from here.

The so called grouping of stars into constellations in no way confers on them any power here on earth. They are located so far away that it takes light many years to travel from them to reach us. Just a faint twinkle of light is all we see. Is that likely to affect you one way or the other.?

If you do think that Sagittarius affects you, then surely Ophiuchus is as well. It's been there just as long.
