For my child, it's homeschool. I can't say what is would be for anyone else. For her it's the best because she learns best in freedom.

As to depicting the real world, she is out in the world, not stuck in a classroom.

    All the best.

I prefer public school. We have tried private school and the administrators were very closed minded, the parents were arrogant, and there were too many cliques, even in Kind and 1st grade. I have nothing against home school, but my family works better with the structure and diversity offered in our public schools.

Public school serves as a unifying factor for our country because the kids have many of the same experiences and learn the same facts. I see private schools and homeschooling pulling us further apart.

If you're not satisfied with what the school is teaching, you can ask for changes or arrange outside of school experiences for your child.
