A good dog food for my Pomeranian?

I switched my dogs food from puppy chow to blue buffalo b/c it's supposed to be better for her. She won't eat the black pieces in the blue buffalo (this is probably why she's having this issue). Ever since she's been eating the blue buffalo; her glands have to be expressed. She didn't have that problem with puppy chow. Anyone know a good dog food that will give her enough fiber or whatever she needs to keep her glands emptied? She's been getting a foul fish odor every 2 weeks or so. it's horrible!

I have a Pom. myself. Cricket is 14 years (human) old. I have been feeding her the small bites of IAMS dog food & Purina Pro Plan Adult formula. She stays "regular" & has not had an impaction in more than 6 years. These foods are available at pet stores. Good luck with your Pom. & enjoy her. I am surprised to learn that after over 14 years, my Pom. Is very high energy. Hopefully you will have many great years with yours too.

Blue changed their formula I wouldn't be feeding her blue anymore. Try Taste of the Wild, Evo, Orijen, Merrick

grain free dog foods like Canidea, Wellness, Nurto Ultra. these are all good, Canidea is the least expensive if that matters to you and my second choice is Wellness

EVO is what my dog eats. look up dog foods that are good for her and maybe those will be good. :-P
