How to transition baby from napping in swing to crib?
It's all my fault, and I happily admit it. I let my daughter nap in her swing for a year, and now I'm trying to transition her to napping in her crib. She sleeps wonderfully in there at night, but trying to get her to nap during the day has been quite tough. She slept for 2-3 hours a day, twice a day in her swing. Now that she's in her crib for naps, she sleeps for 10-30 minutes, and that's it. Every little noise wakes her up, and it takes her about an hour to settle down and nap.
Any suggestions on how to make this transition?

this is a tough one- shoudl sort herslef out after a little while but i know lots of kids that would only go to fall asleep for there nap in the car. So you could let her fall asleep in the swing and then move her into th ecrib.... also... i just think kids sleep better when slightly elevated so if you want to put a pillow under her head that might help a bit.

o goodness good luck, im in the same boat my son actually slept in his swing for the nights b/c he would get so bad about not being in it. What we did was I would rock him to sleep then instead of the swing I put him in a bouncer and bounced it for about 5 min then just let him alone (he also wears a Swaddle Me Wrap at night which really helps) Then after a few days of that I would rock him and put him in the crib once he was asleep. My next step is to try putting him down half asleep instead of completely.
