He has all star numbers but there are just so many big name guards in the east. It would help if he was on a better team. Think of it this way in terms of how difficult it is to make it as a guard in the west. Last year was Deron Williams first all star game and he's also been really good for awhile and on a winning team.

Too many other good guards in the West. Kobe Bryant, Russell Westbrook and Manu Ginobli all deserve in. Then you got Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Deron Williams, Eric Gordon, Tony Parker, and others. I think Ellis should be in, but I understand why he isn't.
