Does Roku stream shows with captions?
People are raving about the Roku player, that it replaces their cable (http://www.roku.com/). If you use Roku, what can you say about captions on shows? I'm deaf and depend on captions.

Good question and I had to do some searching as I need subs from time to time as my ears ring loud.
I did find a thread in a forum and they state there are some subs on some of the movies and even some channels. The point is if you get the top of the line Roku the XDS that one is 'Upgradeable' whereas the others are not also they will start supporting the Subs in the future as thats the way the Net is going. Later on this spring and summer there are going to be lots of changes for the Media Players as whole Comcast lost over 219,000 cable subscribers in the third quester last year. There was an increase in the Internet overall across the board as more people are watching and using the Net. So we have the WD Live TV yet that does not support CC yet it does support Subs we also are waiting for the dust to settle on which one will be the best overall......
These seem to be more up to date
