You should hit some blades on the course just to make sure you can handle blades. If you can, then here's what i think about them. The mizuno irons feel way better; its like butter. For better ball flight control, nike has the advantage.

The BEST are macgreagor 1025m's...the last "cold forged" club...but with the new grooves...Try SCRATCH GOLF's new irons...I'm very impressed. Blows away both the Nike and Mizuno!

If they have the same shafts, same grips, weigh the same, have the same swing weight, same loft and lie angles and are the same length, they'll play exactly the same on well-struck shots. Distance is all about the loft and your swing speed. Accuracy is about your swing mechanics and the lie angle of the club. The name on the back doesn't have any influence on either, simple physics does. So long as you're properly fit for your clubs, get whichever you like best, or costs less, or whatever criteria you have.

The best thing you can do to improve your irons , regardless of the brand , is to have a proper fitting . I play Callaway tour forged and their fitted , and I would not change then for any others.

Try some TaylorMade R9 TP. They are the finest irons I have ever hit, and look fantastic.
