Math, integrals problem?

Hay, I have a problem with my math (integrals)

Can anybody solve this ?

You have a parabola: f(x) = -x² + 6x and you need to search a line trough the origin so that the line divides the surface of the area between the parabola an de x-axis in 2 .

Update:

eummm its dividing the area in 2 equal surfaces ! :)

    Area = integral a to b ydx

    so integrating f(x) you get -x3/3 +6

    a=0 b=2

    applying the upper and lower limit and subtracting we get [ since the lower limit is 0 no need to appply}

    8/3+6 =26/3

    Any line will divide the area in 2. Did you mean bisect the area? There is a difference between dividing and bisecting.
