I have a couple questions about my birth control?
So last Sunday I started my Birth Control. This is the VERY first one I have ever been on. In the last week I have experienced being nauseated while being at work. Can anyone tell me what I could take that could possibly help me get through work? Also, one thing my doctor never told me was how long until I'm protected? I've heard 7 days, 3months, and 1 month. I am currently using Ortho Tri Cyclen. Please help me.

try eating when you take your pill, this can reduce nausea. Your birth control should come with a pill packet saying how long until you are protected. usually, it is about 7 days. i was on tri-sprintec and it was 7 days, now i am on seasonique and it said 7 days. so i am assuming that it would be the same for yours.

It's just the hormones. I took the shot a long time ago and it made me irritable as hell, you're lucky at least you aren't screaming at everybody for breathing too loud.
