Can archaeologists be trusted when they still carry Eurocentric attitudes towards Egyptology?

How to you transfer your Eurocentric attitudes to an Egyptian mummy or tomb thousands of years older than even the concept of Europe? The Egyptian culture and civilisation is anyway to alien to European culture to make even the most threadbare connection. Even the delusional Himmler didn't try to do it.

Archaeologists can also have Afrocentric attitudes that affect their views... this is simply a human trait that needs to be overcome if we are to draw a true picture of the past. The simple minded statement that all the Egyptian rulers were black Africans is easily disproven by examination of mummies & drawings found inside tombs, but some (very seldom real anthropologists or archeologists) continue to insist Cleopatra was an African... even though we all know she was a Greek.

Nobody is to be trusted. Their work has to speak for itself. What Eurocentric attitudes? The only way to decide is to evaluate it yourself based on whatever criteria you deem to be Eurocentric. I am having a hard time seeing what that would be since I doubt many modern archeologists are actually racists. That sounds more that the leftist blather that promotes anti-colonialism to support Marxism. Sorry, but I am finding it hard to think of valid Eurocentric attitudes that are actually prevalent The Marxist spin is there for the gullible sheep to slurp up and feel enlightened though..

Once we get enough Archaeologist in the field who are in seeking the truth we will not have to worry about those with racial preconceived notions. So lets get these old good old boys out of the spot light and introduce a generation of truth seekers. How is this for compromise
