Is photographing in the morning the best time for sharp photos of landscapes?

Or is it the evening? what has been your experience?

I find the morning and early evening are the only times worth shooting landscapes. Period. Save noon for a siesta, coz you have to get up so bloomin' early and you've gotta pull another shift in 4 hrs.

From my experience, the morning light is cleaner (although sometimes quite yellow/red) and the evening light is a rich, golden yellow, but I live in California. Your results may vary.

I was thinking that you should consider regional weather, while if you were planning to stay in one place a rule of thumb would be usually true, humidity here creates a haze that blurs many morning skies. Investigation is good, my grand pa contracted to offload bricks from an Italian ship. The other Swedes were only told the number of bricks but not the size of those. Grand pa went aboard and saw they were half the size of Swedish bricks, so when the bids were taken he easily got the contract. Leg work is a good rule of thumb

an excellent picture comes from good light ,photography need lots of light

so if you want a nice picture make sure you have enough light

not necessary in mornig you can have a nice picture before sun goes down, for example landscape.....depends what you are going to photograph can be mountains waterfall or just woods, make sure you have your equipment ready and battery fully charged

in the morning you have 20 minutes after the sun goes up or 2 hrs before sun goes down

also depend what you want to shoot

The best time for such photographing would be early morning and even into midday. Good luck with your efforts. Peace and God bless!
