Dog or Disneyland? Please help!?

I know I had another question on party or disneyland and I chose party. I asked my dad if I could get a dog. He said he will think about it. Then later on he said a dog or disneyland? and I said idk. So I told my friends my family was going to disneyland and they said they will ask their parents if they can go. If I say dog my friends were all excited about going and I don't want to get their hopes up and I cant wait for the dog because It wont be there anymore. Someone will get it or something else will happen......... So I just need help that's all.

Please and Thank you.

Please NO rude comments.

if you seriously have to ask this..

the answer is "Enjoy your vacation".. and "can you bring me back a souvenir?"

    ADDED

Disneyland is expensive.. odds are, you wont get another chance to go.

There will always be dogs to get later in life, when you are 100% ready to get a dog.

    I'd go to Disneyland myself.

Once you have a dog, you have a responsibility. You won't have as much free time as you used to have, and the free time you do have will be calculated around that dog.

While you may not be able to get -that dog- now, I think you should still enjoy being a child while you can. I don't know how old you are, but it can't be more than a few years before you'll find yourself off to collage. I think you should enjoy the few years you have left of being a child while you can, and Disneyland is defiantly one of the bigger pluses of being under 18.

Just choose which one that you'll love more. I'd suggest to get a dog, since the dog will be with you everyday for you to have fun and take care for. Disneyland is very fun, and going with friends will be an excellent time, but what happens if your friends won't go? That could happen.

But if you get a dog, it takes lots of responsibility though. So don't think it'll be too easy. But both things are entertainment, but I'd suggest what would be more fun or easier to you.

    Good Luck! =)

I would say Disney World. Make wonderful memories with your friends now and wait on the dog. There are a ton of wonderful dogs out there that need a home and there will be one when you get back (or whenever you are ready to get a dog) that is meant for you and is ready to be loved by you.

Hope that helps, either way, you'll have a fun experience.

Get the dog!! but not if you don't plan on taking care of it. the fact that it's even a choice makes me think you might not be ready for a dog they are a lot of work, and if you're planning to go away to college you might end just leaving the dog behind which can be traumatic for a dog. I know I wouldn't trade my dog for anything, even though he's eaten through most of my house. In the long run he makes me happy, makes me laugh, he's always happy to see me. You will get years of happiness from a dog and only momentary happiness at Disney. but you have to do what's right for you. Don't go to Disney just b/c of friends, and don't get a dog if you're not ready.

Would your parents really want your friends going on a family trip to disney? I think not.

Dog or Disney, the question seems silly to me. If I want a trip to an amusement park, I go to an amusement park. If I want a friend for life, I get a dog. The money is NOT the same, the concept is NOT the same, and anybody who thinks life is as simple as a choice between the two has not thought it through. I'm referring to your parents.

Just tell them that it was all just a misunderstanding. You were still thinking about it and didn't intentionally mean or promise what you said. I have a dog and I have had some really great times with her, its the experience and memories that really last a lifetime. Don't waste an opportunity like this to and get a dog... because a dog is a mans best friend :)

  • You sound extremely immature. Are you like 6 years old? Dog or Disneyland?? Go to Disneyland, it's more your thing... considering your maturity level. A dog needs a responsible owner and someone to love it and take good care of it, not someone so flaky that they can't decide if they want a dog or to go to a children's theme park.

Dog! Disneyland will last for what, 2 weeks? A dog can be your partner for your childhood years, disneyland isn't. You'll go someday, and your friends shouldn't plan anything until it's 100% sure.

Dogs will cost more in the long run than a trip to disney. They will also provide much longer lasting happiness than a trip to disney. It sounds like you need to consider if you are responsible enough to take care of a dog, and if you are willing to put forth the effort it takes to raise a dog.

If it's really a question in your mind, go with disney land. Dogs are a 10-20 year responsibility. If you really were ready and wanting a dog, your answer would be the dog without question.
