Best $1000 laptop for music production?

I want a good laptop for music production that is around a grand, but it can cost a little more or less. I was thinking about the hp envy 14 with audio beats, but im not sure yet. I know macs are usually the answer to this question, but id prefer windows. Any other suggestions would be great.

    Macs are for video editing.

That envy is actually the best out of all the HP envy's. The other day it was on sale, 250 dollars off, but the sale is gone. However, I'd still get it. It's a GREAT deal, it has everything you need. Plus you can even game on it or something. The audio is amazing.

The HP Envy was actually designed for music production, the first computer is $999 and the other is $1099. I've had some experience playing games on the second one and the sound quality is better then most laptops on the market, the specs for the base models of these computers are suprisingly good so you shouldn't need to custimize it. (I reccomend you get an external drive because music and videos can take up a lot of space)

As long as you have a dual core processor and at least 3gb of ram you will be fine for any kind of music production.

And with 1000 dollars you can buy one with way better specs than that.No computer is really going to be better than the next just go by what processor it runs and do a little google research.
