I think I have signs of an annurism? help me out here....?

is there tests that can be done to determine if you have an annurism?. I believe I have signs of one, accompanied with high BP. Certain times (we wont get too detailed here) when I get worked up in the cardio department Im getting this ungodly pain in the rear of my head and its when I know my BP is high. hypertension I already know I have also. Or....could it be somthing else like a strain when I tense certain muscles???

Update:

thats why I ask buddy. I know how serious it is. I know all too well, but I deal with VA, so its not like walking into a regular doctor and having an appointment the next day. I want to know before I go through the crap of making an appointment and driving 38 miles to find out that its somthing that cant be tested for. so clam down. Im not looking for a lecture on what to ask and what not to ask, Im looking for some help here. My brother dropped dead from one, and if it werent for him, I would never be suspecting anything but a regular headache.

Update 2:

I guess I should have been more specific about the headaches. I am not a person to normally have headaches. on the rare occasion that I do, it actually concerns mebecause its so uncommon for me to. maybe 2 times a year I get one. This headache is more localized and acute right at the back of my head just above my stem area. I guess I am hoping for the best case scenerio, but now knowing that I can be tested for one and they can be found, thats a relief in itself. I havent thought that it was identifiable because I hear of people dropping from them so i have always wondered why I never hear of people checking for them and opting for prevention.

Don't want to sound like an ass but you need to see a Dr stat. Not ask a question like this on the internet. They can do dye contrast Mri's and brain scans to test function . A close friend of mine dropped from one and they saved her with a 12 hr operation. Get it checked.. could be several things but when something is brain or heart related its not something to fool around with..

    Good luck

headache is a common symptom of high BP.

that being said, if you have a family history of aneurysms (& hypertension), it would be appropriate to make an appointment with a neurosurgeon. He could determine if further testing is needed.
