Would you attend this post-prom party?

I have an interesting idea and im wondering what you think of it. I'm going to be hosting a post-prom party at my house this year and I've been looking for ideas for a theme and games to play. I found a cool idea for a gameshow kind of theme with everyone in attendance who wants to participating in a trivia game (pop culture, movies, stars, music, etc). The twist on the game is the penalty for getting a question wrong or buzzing in late is getting covered in something messy - like pudding, cake batter, flour, water, hit with a pie, etc. Of course everyone would still be wearing their prom dresses, perfect hair/makeup, heels....so it would be double hilarious when they get messy lol. Everyone would put some money in so the winner gets a pool of cash.

What would you think about an idea like that and would you want to join in?

First off - NO ONE and I mean NO ONE messes with my prom-perfect hair.

Also my dress was hired for the prom. That means NO messiness otherwise I have to pay for it to be professionally cleaned.

My shoes were made of raw rare blue silk from africa...my dad had them made for me. No one gets anything messy on them! So basically NO, this is the world's WORST post-prom party idea ever!

I would NEVER go anywhere knowing something like that was going to happen to ruin my very expensive clothes, and the second it became apparent, I would be out of there so fast you'd think I'd been hit by a rocket,

Essentially, prom dresses, make-up, shoes and hairstyles are EXPENSIVE. Fair enough obvs your parents have enough money to let you completely wreck a months worth of wages, but most parents would get soooo mad about that! This whole party sounds like a drag. So here's a tip:

What we did for our post-prom party:

Hired a massive hall until 7am. Applied alcohol, boys, girls and music. Added an awards ceremony (best hair, best shoes, worst date etc) and let everyone get on with it. It was fun and meant we could still have an exclusive post-prom party that everyone wanted to go to. (But only certain cool people were invited). End of. DON'T please don't waste all that cash and get all your lil girlfriends messy, it's such a waste!

Only if there is beer and vodka,I'm serious,It won't be that entertaining without alcohol

  • I probably wouldn't be invited anyways, so no.

    PROTIP: Have alcohol. Apply liberally.
