What's a safe, free program that allows me to convert AVI files to DVD format?

I found a bunch of sites, but I didn't know how safe they were. Thanks

Hello, if you want to convert and burn AVI files to DVD, so that can be played well on dvd player, that's easy, you'd better use a right program to convert the AVI files to video DVD format then burn to DVD, because most dvd players only recognize video DVD format well, but I don't think there's a free program can do that for you, I had tried many free programs, none of them work well, some poor quality, some even virus, so now I am using a cheap program RZ DVD Creator to do that well, it can convert any formats video files to video DVD format, then burn to any dvd disc(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc.) such as convert your AVI files to video DVD format then burn to dvd disc, easy to use, insert a dvd disc into your dvd burner drive, run RZ DVD Creator, select the dvd burner drive as the target folder, drag and drop AVI files into the software, then press the START button, you will get a right video DVD, and you can play the burned video DVD well on any dvd players, You can yahoo or google search and download RZ DVD Creator. easy to use, very cheap. hope it could help you.
