Should Atlanta Falcon fans be proud that Garrett Hartley gave them the NFC South?

Only for them to get TROUNCED by the Packers who never punted....

Who would have rather seen Hartley make a 28 yarder in week 3 to put away the birds, then watch the Pack come into New Orleans last week?

Sure the Saints got beat by Seattle (who did go 7-2 @ home this year).

With that missed field goal Matt Ryan is now 2-4 v Brees. It should be 1-5.

Update:

One made 28 yarder in week 3, and everything else stays the same: The Saints win the NFC South outright. Same record and two head to head wins.

Atlanta was the luckiest team of the year and didn't really do anything. All the praise ATL was getting would be shifted to the Saints with a very, very, very, short field goal. ATL was just in the right place & it all caught up with them last week. They weren't the better team in the NFC South. The Saints proved that in ATL on MNF. As long as Brees is back there, the Saints will have a good chance.

Packers v Saints would have been a far better game.

Update 2:

I am over it. I can't work due to my Sonicwall being down. I'm just killing time there Steeler fan.. BTW: What happened Haloween night?

Update 3:

ATL didn't cheat. I don't accuse any teams of cheating unless the league proves it.

Yes Seattle went 7-9 in the regular season, but overall: 7-2 @ home..

They couldn't win on the road, but did very well @ home, thousands of miles away from the vast majority of all NFL teams.

I began wondering if Atlanta would have won in Seattle had the Saints taken the NFC South. I don't think they would have. Nobody wanted to see Atlanta/GB II, I think NO vs. GB would have been a much closer contest with both QB's throwing over 300 yards. The Falcons were the product of a soft schedule and Roddy White's lucky strip against the 49ers.

In all honesty I really don't think it matters now. Besides, there is no way of knowing what would have happened throughout each week. The NFL is unpredictable. Who says that if the Saints made that last second field goal that they would have won the South? The Saints were not the same team they were this season, and it showed. So really I don't think the Saints would have won the south simply because they failed to play at the level they did last year, while the Falcons played markedly better. But really who cares about this now? The season is over.

no longer without beginning place on the offense and protection lines first. Matt Ryan won't make a distinction this 300 and sixty 5 days and he additionally will fail in getting human beings to miss approximately Michael Vick. Carolina has the expertise to win, yet they lack the middle. New Orleans has the wonderful shot, through fact Drew Brees is the wonderful participant in that comprehensive branch and he's pushed and so is the team.

It's more like... The Chiefs should be thankful they were given the NFC West... Seahawks, Rams, 49ers and Cardinals... Pathetic... This season was a mirage for them. Next Year.... when they play a division champion schedule... They will understand they don't belong in that category. Not to mention they beaet Buffalo by 3... Only beat Cleveland By 2... and was getting slapped in the face by Jacksonvilles quarterback they picked up on the street 3 days before game day... Chiefs - Mirrage...

Falcons... I think they are legit... Need to prove it next season.

You are obviously a bitter Saints fan...but honestly the Saints defense would have gave up 48 points to the Packers too....just be glad you didnt get embarrassed like the Falcons did.
