Do you think high school relationships last?

i think teenagers my age dont know what theyre talking about. do you think people find the right person in high school? (especially if you have a long way to go in high school.)

Update:

the thing is, my ex broke up with me because he's trying to find the "right one" already. in my opinion, i think its a horrible reason

Update 2:

and we have been together for over a year.

High school relationships rarely last. However, when you think about it the reason you really date someone is because you want to be with them. When you decide you want to be with them it means you're thinking they are the right one. Really, dating and relationships are all things that take place on the road to finding the right one. His reasoning is actually rather intellectually correct. Why would you want to date someone if you don't see yourself being with them long term, meaning you don't see them being the "right one". So, while high school relationships don't often last, it doesn't mean that you can't be looking for the right person while you're in high school.
