How do I program the macro button on a MadCatz gamecube controller?

Also, what is the "M" trigger for?

    I have one of those, it had very strong vibration, way better then Nintendo's gamecube controls it broke tho :( use to be able to bring my system to school back then. idiot classmates.

    first push the macro button (M) you should see the light flash very fast then quickly put the button combo you want,you have like 5 seconds to do so then there you go. practice because it may not record the button codes the first time. it is only effective in most games not all. it's useless in fast paced games.

    oh and just click the same one button you want it to record over and over for the turbo effect.
