avoid upgrading to msn essentials 2011?

is there any way i could avoid upgrading to msn essentials 2011?

i had that on my old computer and it SUCKED, i really don't want it on this computer.

so, i was wondering if there was anyway i could avoid upgrading.

    Ok this happened to me yesterday, it wouldn't let me sign in without downloading that new crap, so while it was downloading, I pressed cancel, and I was able to log in without it asking me to download it again.
