Why is my Bulldog Remote Draining my Battery?
I have one of these models which the install is the same for all RS1100/RS1100E, RS114. It's been in the car for about ((5yrs. now)). This year It's been slowly draining my battery overnight to a point of just about starting or not. Took it to my mechanic and he told me that it was keeping the ECC or EEC module open and that's why it's draining the battery at a slow pace. Is there a fix for it or could something else be causing it to malfunction? The battery is new.

has to be a short somewhere to cause a parasitic drain. Line a Short in an alternator diode. need to trace voltage drain circuit by circuit using a digital volt meter.
