Sharp pain behind left nostril of nose?

I woke up this morning with a sharp pain behind the left nostril behind the nose. I get this pain at random sometimes or if I inhale (try to at least) deeply. Following it my eyes water (mostly my left, because of the pain where it is) and sometimes I sneeze. Along with this pain I have a very runny nose.

The pain doesn't last more then 5-10 seconds each episode, but I get close to 20 episodes and hour.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

It sounds like a bad sinus infection. Sinus infections are often only effective one side of the face or the other, and often star with a burning or pain in the nose or eye. Sinus infections can be triggered by allergies, typical viral colds. You will need to see a doctor for a real diagnosis though.
