Red Sable Pomeranian

I am a reputable breeder and exhibitor of pomeranians.

In orange sable, the main coat colour is orange, with black in the guard hairs also any orange pom with black whiskers has sable in its background.

The black stripe down the back means they are only just born, this fades.

You cannot tell the coat colour at this time, at around 4-5 weeks sometimes earlier IF you know what you are doing you look at the coat colour behind the ears, and also on the legs.

Cream sable means main colour is cream, with darker patches.

Self coloured means the paws, nose and eye rims are all light pinkish. (very very loose terminology)

I would guess that you are going to have orange or red sables.

the brown or tan is what we reputable breeders call orange or red.

red is a dark orange, NOT tan. the orange would be the tan. we breeders like orange, .but we like it to be as clear as possible.

We like to use black in, as this brightens the colour and adds depth, I put a red sable to a black, and out of that, got a clear orange, a dark rich red, and a black. (3 litters)
