If it were possible, doing this type of reconstruction while on chemo is not going to happen. The chemo or radiation will never allow this to set, it would deteriorate instead of heal. Her immune system will not be strong enough to combat infection should any occur. No, not now,
There is a substance the Dr uses after removing a bone or repairing, it's called 'bone wax', My cousin is an Orthopedic surgeon that's how I know. this bone wax looks and feels like bone and is used to protect an area that has been compromised because of surgery. this is the only thing I know of that is used on bone but I don't know if it's used to fill a hole. Right now, she needs time to heal from cancer, radiation, or chemo. How did this hole happen anyway.
