I agree with you about the marry-who-you-love !

but, we weren't created to love same sex ! It's not just right if you think of it ! well, if we all went lesbians and gays, how just would this world continue to exist ?? I'm serious, I'd like a justification for that ! thanks

I respect all opinion tho in the end !

Some of us love people of same sex and that's not a choice. Allowing same sex marriage doesn't increase the proportion of people who are homosexual. I am gay and I don't like that I am attracted to men but cannot change it. So no one can go gay and world will continue to exist, because the straight people will always be the majority.

Take the lions for example. Some lions are gay, but this doesn't mean that straight lions will become gay. Straight lions are the majority and will always be the majority. So lions will exist.

    Homosexuality is natural, as heterosexuality.

    >> I agree with you about the marry-who-you-love !

I did. He's a very sweet fellow from Iowa.

Who told you we were not 'made' to love the same sex? Some religious person? If God sat that man/woman down to tell them the score, explain how the Universe works, I am still waiting for my own Divine Interview. When do you imagine it may happen?

There are other gay animals - were these other animals "made" to be interested in each other? That's how they fly/swim/run/climb trees. Kinda breaks your argument down a little, yes? It's natural for them to be gay.

For me, I am gay before I am my memory. In 1989 I had a bad car accident, smashed my head and was in a coma for 7 days. I do not remember any of the next 2 months, and as my memory SLOWLY got better over the course of the next few years I was never confused or questioning about who I was attracted to. I thought my (male) roommate was cute before I could talk to him or remember his name. I was psyched when my handsome (then) boyfriend came to see me. I did not know the first thing about him, but I liked it a lot when he came to visit. I had to re-learn everything; how to talk, read, walk, recognize my family & friends and I never had to 'remember' being gay. It is who I am, before memory. Seems I WAS "made" to love other guys.

As for "all of us going lesbi/gay" and that ending the world - that's not how it works, so don't even go there. No-one 'decides' to be gay. There are bisexual people who have more choice in what sex they want to go for when looking for a date, but no-one decides who they are attracted to and fall in love with.

Look around you ~ this world could actually use a little more queer love that doesn't make more human babies. We've over-populated this tired ol' planet enough.

Right well firstly, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. So not EVERYONE is going to turn gay or lesbian. It's not like an evolutionary threat. Secondly. GOOD humans destroy this planet every day and I don't plan on bringing a baby into this sh*it heap regardless - and I'm bisexual so I perfectly well could. Also it is NATURAL for some individuals to be gay - how else would you explain how some species of animals mate with the same sex as well? It isn't just humans you know.

F*ck off with your narrow minded bullsh**

Do some research, there are several animal species that practice homosexual relationships. You are using the all-or-nothing fallacy. The fact is, is that we are not ALL lesbian and gay. I am gay, you are straight.

There will always be straight people, there will always be gay people.. The word will continue to exist without problem (well... there is always 2012..)

I believe I was created to love my boyfriend. I have always been gay, and will always be gay. I had an awesome mom, always had a great father figure, I do masculine things and have always have done masculine things.. I just don't like women in that way.

Honestly, all homosexual people want, is for you heterosexuals to butt out of lives. What we do is our business. We don't attempt to come into your life and say "HEY! THAT'S DISGUSTING!" and try to outlaw straight marriage.

We AREN'T all gay or lesbian so that kinda throws off your whole point.

And there is such thing as artificial insemination.

And how on earth do you know we weren't created to love the same sex? If I wasn't supposed to love them same sex please enlighten me as to why I do not like men and I only like women?? And don't use anything like 'I was raised thinking it was ok' or anything like that because animals do it to. And there have been gay people since the beginning of time. And guess what, even with gay people, the world goes on.

Not everyone is gay. There will always be straight people who have sex and make children together. This should make it easier for you to accept homosexuals. And yes, you do have a point. If there are a lot of gay people around I guess the world would stop but that's never going to happen.

The population isn't 100% gay, nor is the percentage going to change from acceptance of variety. So your hypothesis fails.

What if the sun burned out today? It won't, so theorizing about it is pointless.

And you weren't created to be attracted to the same sex. Don't speak for me.

"we weren't created" - You're right, we're a result of millions of years of evolutionary forces working on species.

"if we all went lesbians and gays, how just would this world continue to exist" - Sure it would

I used to think that gay people existed because there were so many unwanted babies that needed adopting and we are pretty over populated

According to your argument, impotent people have no right or reason to marry. Also, you sound a little presumptuous to know the reason for our creation.
