POLL:do you prefer high school football games or basketball games?

dang thats really tough. my bf plays both (started on varsity since he was a sophomore) and this year as a senior he was football captain and now hes a basketball captain.

You see, football games were really intense where I'm from (a small town near Green Bay, Wisconsin) because our high school team is really good. They actually won the State Championship this year so you can imagine how intense it is. I lost my voice at practically every game. My boyfriend was also voted 1st-team All-State his junior and senior years so he's going to play D2 college football next year on scholarship and im really excited for that.

However, basketball is really intense here too. Our boys team is not that good but they make the games interesting. They might not always win but its always close, near buzzer-beating games. Also, my boyfriend can dunk (one handed AND two handed) so THAT makes games even more exciting and idk its just really cool lol.

BUT if i had to pick.... it'd have to be football. I mean, winning a state championship is just the best thing in the world while ur in high school... especially for a small town like mine :)

It's hard to tell, but I probably like the football games better. My friends and I run around all over the area so it's more fun. But, I had lotsa fun at a basketball game for my highschool last night.

Football because I played football. I hate basketball. And, High school football in Florida is huge. No one cares about bball here. Even the miami heat can't sell out.

Basketball, because my school is 3rd best in the state. In football we're 3rd worst in the state.

I love football games, but only if your schools good.
