Is this too big for a Chihuahua?
I'm getting a Chihuahua pup from a registered breeder in March. I've never really seen pups before and was wondering if they look right? They're 11 days old and long coated.

There is a photo of the parents on there too.
There is a slide show of the pups that was sent to me as well, not sure if it will work.
They're not AKC registered because they're Australian.
Breeders in Australia put their adds on Trading Post as well as their own websites.
Both parents are registered with the Australian kennel clubs and the puppies come with papers.

Good breeders have their own websites. They do not post on places such as "trading post". You're better off getting a dog at the shelter or in your local newspaper.

I don't see anything there about the pups and parents being AKC registered.

Depends. Maybe they took the pics too close. it could also be that its a type of chihuahua. theres the tea cups, the apple head, the deer type or something like that.
