Do you think Carson Palmer is doing the right thing?

If I was him I would have refused to go to cincy from the get go! I have great respect for him and feel the bungels are ruinning him!

I think palmer has every right too pull the plug! after all this guy is still young and still hes a former heisman trophy winner HES NO SLOUCH.... too palmers credit he has hung in their and taken absolute atrocious beatings as the bengals franchise quarterback that by the numbers is the worst franchise in nfl history in last 20yrs.... palmer had endured career ending type injuries, hes never quit on this team. he has had divas for players, turmoil/criminals too deal with that ruin the chemistry of the locker room and team ie. out for themselves and whining babies. palmers best yr was 2005 where the team did very well, last year they did make the playoffs. its very disappointing as a bengals fan living in colerain twp and seeing how bad the road has gotten in cincinnati for palmer. the truth of the matter is that a lot of people really do not understand the true dynamics of pro football and this scenario alludes too that fact as palmer has been working under the worst offensive coordinator in the game ie. bob bratkowski. Now imagine yourself being palmer and youre team goes too the playoffs performing well enough too have swept the steelers that year and all is well... then you have a piss poor year and they just slaughter you at home, the team and front office are making no changes and guess what? its all blamed on palmer.... this off coordinator is ridiculous, most quarterbacks under this guy would go nuts! I felt bad for palmer when he came too cincinnati as this teams ownership and commitment too winning is not their, in other words how do you go from being usc ncaa heisman trophy winner too labelled a horrible quarterback and blamed for all... it means this, the bengals are not and never have been an organzation that takes good talent and promotes them up too better playing, instead people leave this town and do much better elsewhere always have! the pittsburgh steelers def coach is dick labeau, can you believe that cincinnati sent em packing? I mean the list of former bengals is endless, they have picked up super bowl rings elsewhere like corey dillon w/ patriots etc... what im getting at is palmers true talent was minimized here with an elementary offense and horrible play calling, hes been surrounded with nothing but criminals and divas as well as an unwillingness of the owner too make supportive changes. palmer sacrificed his career potential here in cincinnati, granted hes been paid over 48million but damn i bet he wish he never came here! this is a very dysfunctional bengals organization, had they just continued too give benson the ball we wouldnt be having this discussion....

this last year was a bad one for palmer, although it looks like it was all his fault? one has too dig a bit deeper.. when you have an off coordinator calling the same basic sequence of plays well hell yea the defense is gonna pick up on that and thats why palmer had a lot of picks at season end. these defense knew what plays were coming! now what quarterback can make it in this environment? think about it, in the last 20yrs i bet no one can name one single quarterback that flourished here in cincinnati? yes boomer comes too mind and he was awesome but you probably cannot name anyone since 1980s could ya.... see! the reason is that this offensive squad, coaches alike have been horrible! the kicker is that even in the face of all of this bs then the owner never fires anyone and he keeps the same leadership and nothing changes! no one can survive in the NFL when defenses alreay know your play schemes.... its suicide for guys like palmer.....

palmer should have been a dallas cowboy or a new england patriot.... it sucks he never got too be a part of a real team with a real owner....... dallas w/jerry jones would have been the right organization for palmer.... imagine being a top notch franchise quarterback and working for mike brown of the cincinnati bengals... only other worse owner would be al davis!!

im wearin out my welcome here lol.... palmers a great guy, a good leader but shits done in cincinnati... time for em too move on.....

The Bengals will be good with Palmer. At the end of the season he played well with out T.O. and Ochocinco. Sometimes having two overrated players can destroy a team. It happened with Randy Moss on the Patriots. What happens if these self proclaimed Super Stars don't get the ball, they shut it down effectively killing the offense. Give Palmer some players that hustle and he'll turn it around. I personally like the guy.

Dumbest factor he could have pronounced in public. in the back of closed doorways, specific, that is possibly what he could say. yet like him or not Chad is his no.a million receiver, inspite of how gifted TJ is. with out Chad he does not have a extreme-powered offense, and that is not like the Bengals are that sturdy with him. And for the checklist, i became against Favre too. He became the finished city against the Walker and the newborn did not comprehend to any extent further suitable and did not stick to his weapons. Then he went out and performed and harm his leg undesirable and hasn't been the comparable receiver in view that, even with the indisputable fact that he's gotten his funds someplace else than green Bay, so i don't experience sorry for him. i think of if Brett had stood in the back of the newborn, or a minimum of hadn't sabotaged him, he does not have became out the way he's now. He found out approximately "team loyalty" in green Bay and now he seems out for no.a million. GB decrease him that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and did not even advantages him for that season. that is not like Favre's rookie contract became chump substitute (like Walker's). And Walker became the no. a million receiver on the gang, not a bench-warming QB. in assessment to Walker, notwithstanding, Chad HAS been looking after, so collectively as that is Palmer's actual to assert what he did, I assure you Chad comes lower back, he would be waiting to prepare 0.5 of the locker room against Palmer. It became thoroughly unneccessary.

He is a total waist on cincy. Its to bad he has been there so long. But thats how its works he isn't the only QB stuck on a shitty team.

It's hard to say unless I was in his shoes. The only one that knows what is right for him...is him. Period. There will be those that say what he should and shouldn't do, and what they would like to see happen. But in the end, it boils down to it being his life and what he feels is best for him...not us fans.
