Do you like the name Eema Jean (Scale 1-10)?

1 being the worst 10 the best

First Name: Eema

Middle Name: Jean

Not said together as one name.

Eema- pretty strait forward, sounds just like its spelt..pronounced with a long E)

An American name that dates back to the 1860s from the Greek Saint Euphemia

c. 304-307 AD.

If you have suggestions on on how to spell it differently please share :o)

Update:

*Jean is the name of my late great aunt and I was given her name as a middlename. We were very close and wanted to keep passing the name down.

Eema: I like the sound of it but I don't like the way it looks. I would prefer Ima but I know it would constantly get pronounced "EYE-ma"

Jean: is always good, and your reasons for choosing the name are precious.

i'm no longer for my section partial to Eema, i like it as Emma, or Ima, or Emmah. i admire Jean, it is likewise a kinfolk call, it quite is my grandmother's midsection mame. have you ever considered any variations to Jean? And base line, in case you and infant's dad like the call and ya'll are pleased with it, then that's all that concerns. Spelled Eema, I provide it a three on a a million-10 scale.

I have to give Eema a 1 and (just because it's my middle name) Jean a 5

Not a fan of these two names combined, sorry

Eema = Mother in Hebrew (אמא) That is exactly how it is pronounced E+Ma

I don't like it at all for a first name- it just doesn't sound nice at all.

I have never liked the name Jean.

    1/10

Honestly, it reminds me of an old lady's name, and sounds really...country, for lack of a better word.

Imogene would definitely be better than Eema Jean.

I don't like it at all.

    Maybe Leelah? Emmeline? Emma Jean?

I don't really have suggestions for anything more similar.

I really don't like it. I prefer Effemia, of the same origin but with the nickname Effie. Eema sounds like some kind of medication and the Jean part makes it kind of rhymey

Eema... oh dear. I don't think so. Jean's a nice middle name though.. just work from there. Lol. :)

No. Not a fan of Euphemia either. I like Jean though.

ima is pronounced EE mah. i prefer it, but that may be because i know people with this spelling.

p.s. at one time, ima jean was extremely popular in texas.

    ima jean 7.5/10

    eema jean 5/10

I think it's a very cute little country name. Classy county name.
