New law for taxes Dec 2010?

We have been told because we are trying to claim the first time home buyers credit we can not file until feb 15th. Please someone explain this to me. Will be def be able to file the 15 or will it get pushed back they also said it could take 8 to 12weeks to see anything. Oh my goodness so stressed i dont have this kind of time.

    The IRS need to retool the computers for taxpayers not filing a simple return because Congress waited to long to pass tax laws. You wait like the rest of us and File after Feb 15

    Claiming the tax credit for first time home buyer and you are looking at 18 to 36 weeks for that check
