Is it possible for a faulty pair of glasses to let you see double images? This is to say when you put them on, you get to see 2 images overlapping each other instead of one single image.
When I wore my new glasses, I thought I suffered double vision until I changed back to my old pair and found I was alright.
Thanks . You have all been very reassuring.

Double Vision, if not caused by glasses = DANGER / EMERGENCY...
So if you're experiencing double vision with your new glasses (and not with your old ones) then it's most likely that your new glasses have not been centred right. Take them back and get the Dispensers to check.
If everything is good, then check with your prescribing Eyecare Prof.

most definitely.
my bifocals do that if you look at the line in them (they're "no-line" bifocals...or so they say.) I'd bet that your optometrist would help you out if you told them that your glasses are giving you double vision.
