What does fanny mean in american ?

I find it drop dead funny when i hear americans say fanny XD LOL But what does it mean in american? LOL cus here in Britain in means Vag hehe ...

    rofl I know what you mean, the first time I heard an American (TV) say "slapped her on her fanny" I couldn't stop laughing. Takes on a whole new meaning for us XD

    It means vag in Britain!?

    When I was little (in the 90's), I always thought that fanny just meant butt/bottom/whatever british people call their hindquarters.....

    Thanks for the info! I could have had some embarrassing moments on any future visits to Britain!

    Yeah I noticed that too O_O They wear "Fanny packs/bags" not bum bags.
