I already know how to play piano, will that make it any easier for me to learn guitar?
I learned how to play the basics of piano (up to 1st/2nd level) and can read music pretty well, and picked it up very fast, but only did this for about 6 months.
I've started to like guitar very much lately, and was just wondering if it would be easier for me to learn since I already know piano?
I understand that just because I know one instrument I won't know all of them, but I would say I'm good at keeping rhythm and good with music altogether.
Is guitar easy to learn, starting at basics?

Having a knowledge of music and being good at a different instrument will definitely help, but only to a certain extent. This is especially true because you're switching between instrument types; a guitar is very different from a piano.
I would say that guitar is easy to learn, but difficult to master.

I think so. I've played guitar for many years, but recently got myself a synthesizer and found that after some practice I learnt basic chords (Major / 7th / Minor / minor 7th etc) which was a reasonable start. Knowing guitar helped me learn keyboard, so I presume the same can be said when you are going the other way.

If you are aware of piano and have a good thorough knowledge of chords and the notes that make up those chords, you will pick guitar up very easily.
You already have the knowledge - all you need to do is learn the technique.
