I need a new MMORPG can you help?

Hi so i have been playing MapleStory for a good few years now, GMS 2+ yrs then EMS 2+ yrs then i moved to private servers but it has gotten really boring, i still love the game due to its simple char builds and scrolling fetures so i am looking for a different MMORPG, not similar to maple (WonderKing ect) but im looking for one which has a simple char build, a choice of classes and some sort of upgrading equips method. also it should have good and lots of quests.

list please! many thanks

There are only 2 MMORPGs that I have really loved playing and I have played many games over the years. Even spent my money on them. First one being MapleStory and second being Trickster Online. I always switched around whenever I got bored of the other.

I've played Trickster Online since beta and up to now. Trickster Online is pretty unique, but I am not gonna explain it all. It has a drilling system which you can find rare items or just plain old crap. You can even get EXP from it. Also, the characters you can choose from wear animal costumes. Here are what you can choose from:

    Male:

    Power type - Buffalo

    Magic type - Dragon

    Sense type - Lion

    Charm - Raccoon

    Female:

    Power type - Bunny

    Magic Type - Sheep

    Sense type - Fox

    Charm - Cat

There are tons of quests to do (story quests, party quests, monster quests, normal quests, etc). The upgrading of equips is pretty cool too (and addictive!). You can fuse two equips together, like say you want to fuse a lollipop with a super duper strong sword. The result would be having a lollipop with the stats of the sword or the complete opposite, a sword with stats of the lollipop. You can also refine equipment, compound equips (i.e. you have a water stone, compound it on the sword and then you'll have a water attribute sword!), temper equips (gives you a random stat in a range of i.e. str 10~100), etc.

All this explaining wants me to play it right now... If you decide to play it, feel free to email me and I'd be happy to help you out. I also have a bunch of crap I don't bother throwing away. :p

It's hard to recommend a specific MMO game 2 play, because everyone likes something different. A game I love you may not. Check out http://mmohut.com/ for a huge list of these free mmorpg / mmo games. I personally use that site to find new games to play. Every few days I try a new game :) - It's a lot of fun because I try everything. They have like every single MMORPG categorized nicely with reviews, screenshots, videos and more. Heck they even list the game's system requirements!. Best part is all the games are free, which rocks.

    http://mmohut.com/browser-games

They have a big section for "no download" browser MMORPGs too! All with screenshots and reviews!

Let me know if this was helpful! <3

Well, Dungeons & Dragons online is free, and takes a long time to get bored from... unless you suck at mmorpg's. Anyways, character build isn't so simple, but it is fun, also, they have a lot of classes to choose from, and you can specialize your character to how you want with skills and such, plus, I believe you can half one class and another, not too sure on that one though. But it is a fun game, with a cool storyline, and many options. There are several ways to level up, so it will keep you busy, and with all the class selection, and specialization techniques, you could have lots of characters and play them all regularly once you get on high up there for money.

    Requiem: Momento Mori (formally Bloodymare)

    http://www.playrequiem.com/Index.aspx

"Horror Survival MMO" all features are free (optional membership for xp/cash advantages), multiple races/classes, DNA coding feature so you can alter your character from the inside and change his/her abilities, upgrade your equiptment as far as youd like with ions, large worlds, server battles, pvp servers, a good solid game.

    Source(s): played it, loved it.
