He was really one of the best! True country he was! Guess I'll Go Somewhere And Cry Myself To Sleep. .What Are Those Things With Big Black Wings. See The Big Man Cry. These are three of my favorites! This is a very sad day,it brings back memories of my brother always playing an 8 track by him. Every time I got in his car with him,he was playing Charlie Louvin,as loud as it would go,and this is how I got to know his music.I liked his style,and loved his music then and always will! I think hes one of the greatest EVER!! .RIP Charlie..

I saw Charlie two months ago at the Midnite Jamboree. He looked good, sounded good, was able to stand up and sing for the whole show, and at the show said the doctors told him he was "clean as a whistle" from the cancer. His son said he took a dramatic turn for the worse earlier this month, was hospitalized briefly, and told his son he was tired of fighting it.
