Would you like to see Danica Patrick as Nascar Cup driver in 2012?

Maybe RPM motorsports? (see article)

    I'm indifferent either way.

If she does, good for her.

If not, I won't lose sleep over it.

It just gets old hearing the commentators "Let's check in on Danica, she's currently 38th and 4 laps down"

20 minutes later "Let's check in on Danica, she's getting back on the 3rd lap down and is in 33rd"

20 minutes later...and so on and so on..

I get it, she's an attraction, but there are 42 other drivers.

The obvious answer is she needs to show a lot of improvement. Running 30th in great equipment in Nationwide series does not earn you a Cup ride. But one of the sad components of motor racing is that money talks. She can put a sponsor on that hood guaranteed. Look at F1 right now. Drivers are paying millions of dollars for a race seat. So more talented drivers get left out in lieu of drivers who have great financial backing.

She needs to stay in Indy Car and get that Indy 500 win, that would be so much more important to her than coming to Nascar.

She needs to do at least one full season of Nationwide before even attempting to run the Cup series. She has very little experience in a stock car and is not ready.

    it would be intersting

there was a rumor she may attempt to qualify for a couple this season in the Sprint series

    like the Daytona 500

Sure. But I think RPM's Image has taken enough pummeling.

Waste of money! If she can't even compete in the nationwide circuit, then why spend the money to field a car that will not even get a top 35 finishing position!

Not particularly. As long as she was on the track, I'd never hear about any of the other drivers.
