So I'm thinking of starting up a dog walking service in my local area...?

What else would I need in order to make this happen other than to advertise and keep some supplies on hand if the need arises. So far I've been designing posters/consent forms but what do I need in the case that a dog could suddenly slip its lead, run out and have an accident? I'll be held responsible I know that much if anything were to happen so where can I be covered? I will only be able to do this part time due to my studying though if thats any help.

Contact your insurance agent and get a policy that will take care of such incidents.

No one is going to hire you to walk their dogs unless you have proper insurance/bonds.

You will not only need insurance that covers the dog being injured or killed while in your care but insurance that covers you if the dog bites someone or injures another person or dog while in your care.

This company offers policies for dog walkers
