And well My Mother has been feeling's these sharp pain in her neck shes says she feels it in her veins with her veins and when it accures she feels it from her neck towards her back what could it be i was worried and i wanted to know what could it be and she also told me it doesnt happnen in a regular accurance it happens every now and again she says and i was wondering what is it and could anyone help me out i mean she told me she feels her neck tighten up and she cant move her neck and the pains goes from her neck towards her back but it doesnt happen as often so can anyone help me help my mom thankyou very much!

It could be a protruding disc?? I would check into having a chiropractor look at it. They could possibly order her a set of treatments on a decompression table. This is usually a series of 20, and if the discs in your mom's neck are not herniated, which would be seen through an mri, she may be able to get 100 percent relief from 20 or less treatments on decompression. Hope this helps

My mum used to have this thing where she would get pain from the back which crep around to the front and in her neck so that eventually her thorac is in pain. He diagnosis was a pleural/pericardial effusion
She could also have a heart prob where the heart muscles spasm
There is another thing where the back muscles and nerves tense creating tension and tightnes in the neck and chest.
