Okay, i just had my second child 3 months ago and i am looking to lose about 15-20 pounds. My friend at work had just lost 30 lbs drinking green tea. and I want to know (because i dont see her often enough to ask..she works at a different store) What the best brand of Green tea to buy for weight loss is..and which is better to drink hot green tea or cold green tea? which one (if any) will help you lose weight faster. Im 148 pounds now, im looking to go down to 130 pounds. I have no specific time in which i would like to lose it. Thanks!

Green tea is high in antioxidants as flavonoids.

A diet high in antioxidants can help increase your metabolism.

    Higher metabolism burns more calories.

Drinking green tea alone won't make you drop weight.

I drink mine with lots of ice and a splash of orange juice. Not too much sugar. Great flavor.

Hot or cold doesn't matter so much.

    Good luck.

You know as soon as I reached my 25th birthday, it seemed like someone flipped a switch, before then I could eat any food I wanted, and still keep my six pack abs, then all of a sudden I started to get that middle age spread. By the time I turned 30, I was over 30 pounds overweight. As a new years resolution, in my 30th year, I pledged that i would lose that weight, for the next 7 years I was able to renew that vow, and it wasn't because of all the *** I was kicking on a program. Every method I tried, I failed at. I tried diet pills, carb deprivation and some of the meal plans. Nothing worked. Then I found a website, with some free information that caught my attention, 3 months later, I was back to my college graduation weight. I have kept the weight off for over two years and I couldn't be more pleased with my condition. Maybe the diet can help you as well. So check out the link and give it a shot.

Hey I'm right along with you https://tr.im/diet2 i weighed 150 and now i weigh 142 i lost 8 pounds in a week i posted a question about my diet i don't know how i can get you to look at it! I'm on the 3 week diet but i do pay for it and the classes all i do is make sure i have money. I'm 5'2 22 years old a female and weighed 150 lol i now weigh 142 and it's only been my first week of dieting. I know it's probably water weight but girl it works just follow what i have to say!

You don't have to work out but i mean walking 2 miles or 3 miles a day won't hurt just speeds up the process! Do not eat after 7pm but drink water to fill you up! Drink water all day but not too too much just after every meal you eat! Green Tea..Hot or Cold

Start off with a cup of cereal and a half cup of milk a day! Than have a 100 calorie snack about 2 hours after your breakfast. Than have a Smart Ones meal for lunch, another 100 calorie snack a couple hours after that. Than for dinner another Smart Ones meal, and for a dessert have another 100 calorie snack or something small. But don't eat past 7pm. It really works. I mean i been wanting to get under that 150 mark for the longest and i finally did it I'm 142 now and its only Saturday! Green Tea..Hot or Cold

It will work just keep your mind to it. Stay positive! Things happen in time. Just don't eat fast food don't drink sodas and definitely don't eat SWEETS! Green Tea..Hot or Cold

Know what the problem with losing weight is? More often that not even after you actually begin to succeed, you find that you’re actually not really succeeding quite the way that you hoped you would be.

While certain parts of your body may certainly be slimming down, others will stay stubbornly flabby, and this can make your shape look even a little worse than you thought it was to begin with.

Mainly, the reason why this happens in the first place is because your body isn’t really programmed to lose weight uniformly. Instead, it loses weight in direct response to what you’re doing and which parts of your body you’re working most.

Due to that, if you’re doing something like walking or running, you’ll find that it’s your legs, and possibly arms that end up slimming down the most, whereas your belly area and even inner thighs will not slim down as much.

Naturally, the solution to this is simple: Total body exercises.

Some exercises out there are just better at encouraging uniform weight loss than others, mostly because they use a wide array of muscles throughout the body and thus help you to mold yourself into a more desirable shape.

Using a wide array of muscles also has the dual advantage of toning the muscles in those areas too, which means that whatever flab does remain is better supported by the lean muscle bulk that you’re going to be building up there too. End of the day, this is going to help you even more than the actual fat loss will.

Does the word "diet and weight loss" immediately make you think of an unpleasant weight-loss regimen? If it did, you are probably not alone. For example, consider the use of the term "diet" in marketing food products—it usually describes foods low in calories, such as diet soda. But there is another meaning of this word. Diet can also refer to the food and drink a person consumes daily and the mental and physical circumstances connected to eating. The Merriam Webster Online Dictionary gives two definitions of nutrition: "the sum of the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food" "the act or process of nourishing or being nourished"

While both are correct, the second definition is more inclusive and suggests that food involves many different things, including love, satisfaction, and enjoyment. Nutrition involves more than simply eating a “good” diet—it is about nourishment on every level. It involves relationships with family, friends, nature (the environment), our bodies, our community, and the world. Choices about nourishment are very much linked to other human beings and other life forms on this planet, so healthy (and unhealthy) decisions have great impact. Hot or cold.

    Hi Shannon,

Green tea is excellent for boosting your metabolism and will burn an extra 80 to 100 calories. Also as you said that you are wanting to lose upto 20 lbs I suggest researching some foods that can aid weight loss and also speed up metabolism!

Any brand of green tea is great, I have drunk cheap green tea and expensive tea and they all work the same.

Good luck with the weight loss!

Unless your coworker is lacing her tea with meth or engaged in bulimia, there's no way you can lose any significant weight by drinking green tea alone. I'm not being haughty or mean- it's a bogus concept that people kept getting duped into believing.

If that were the case, I'd be 90lbs.

I loved to play ball, and for the first time in my life, I'm actually useful, at a ballgame, instead of just a big stationary person, that maybe if the ball comes within this range, I might get it. I was wearing-I'd always wore XX kind of jersey. And then I went down to medium. And then the medium was too big, that it's coming down here.

So I'm wearing a rockin' outfit, and I'm making a play, and the guy stops, beans it in the face 'cause he says, "Look at your body. You're rockin' hard." And that was the first time I had ever gotten a compliment like that in my whole life.

    No secret.

For weight loss exercise such as swimming, running, cycling and even walking can help but dieting can often help a lot more than exercise.

A very good and healthy weight loss diet is the DASH diet that can also help to reduce high cholesterol and high BP.

The DASH diet includes a lot of fruit and vegetables combined with whole grains and cereals plus low fat dairy products such as low fat cheese, milk and yogurt as well as lean meats.

Good serials are Weetbix, oatmeal, oatbran, wheat bran and wheat germ.
